Sarah Palin’s New Toy Eases the Pain

Sarah Palin may be suffering in the wake of her party’s quiet, whimpering defeat to Barack Obama’s Democrats, but that hasn’t stopped her investing in a new toy.  The ever eco-friendly Palin decided to splash out and purchase a 600 horsepower Dodge Viper!  The 8.3 liter, V10 beast goes from 0-60mph in around 4 seconds and will go on to a somewhat plane-like 180mph!  This outragous performance is, I’m sure lots of fun in Alaskas unspoilt tundra, but it does come at a price.  Averaging around 12 miles per gallon, the Viper is one of the least economical cars on the road, meaining it uses about 2 - 3 times the fuel of your every day runaround.  In this day of high oil prices and uncertainty about the future, perhaps miss Palin should have opted to buy something a little more environmentaly friendly, or even, shall I say it?…Politically correct!

 

Still, she does look smoking hot in that thing and I would (obviously) wait until after getting freaky with her in the front seat before I begin to criticize her choice of transport!
