There is a rumor going around that Sarah Palin covered up her sixteen year old daughters pregnancy and claimed it was her own to protect the reputation of her family.Â
Faking a pregnancy seems pretty far fetched, so what evidence is there for people to reference when making these claims?
Well, Sarah did not announce her pregnancy until her seventh month of expectancy. She also did not appear to be pregnant at all up until this announcement. Her daughter, Bristol, appears to have a baby bump in her stomach in multiple pictures around the time Sara was supposed to be pregnant and was visibly larger than her mother. Sarah meanwhile, wore baggy, ‘maternity’ style clothes making it difficult to judge the size of any apparent bump. Bristol also missed four months of school under the pretence of having ’mono’. This all occurred during the time leading up to and just after Trig’s birth.
All of this appears to be strong evidence for the existance of a scandal, it’s just, I can’t quite bring myself to believe it. All of this occurred before the Republicans selected her as potential VP, meaning if there was any truth to the rumors McCain and his campaign overlooked it. Highly unlikely, given the significance of a presidential race.
It is human nature to search for flaws in people, creating scandals about famous people is just the same as a spiteful rumor in a high-school. I would leave it down to you to decide whether or not Sarah Palin is Trig’s mother, or grandmother. Either way, she lost the election and we will probably never hear from her again making this a non issue. So, unless she divulges all on her deathbed, we will probably never know the truth and to be honest, Who the hell cares.
I think the child was Bristol’s .. also they refused any maternity dna testing. This might be out of privacy, but if you are being confronted with allegations of fraud…
i would just do the test.
I really don’t care whose it was. Important is, that it is healthy and the mother is healthy.
But - if it was Bristols, would she be so stupid and make the same mistake again, just a few months later?
I don’t know… anyway, congratulations to the Palin family.
