Yet Another Ethics Complaint Against Sarah Palin

Sarah Palin starts race

It has been revealed that Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has yet again violated ethics law whilst standing in as the starter for a snowmobile race.  Palin wore a jacket promoting one of the teams in the race while acting as an official of the contest.

The jacket is emblazoned with the logo of ‘Team-Arctic,’ the main sponsor for her husband’s team.  The complaint was raised by Linda Kellen Biegel, an Anchorage blogger who wrote on her web page that Sarah Palin had a conflict of interest because the jacket she wore displayed a preference towards one of the teams.

Palin’s office said that no evidence could be found supporting the claim that the Executive Branch Ethics Act was violated.

Sarah Palin is motorcycle mom!

Former vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin has been penciled in to appear on hit TLC television show ‘American Chopper.’

It turns out this self confessed hockey mom is, in fact, a hot motorcycle momma!  The TV show, which airs on TLC, is based in a high end chopper shop that designs custom motorcycles for the rich and famous.

The current Alaska Governor welcomed the whole crew from Orange County Choppers to Anchorage, which is the home town of the shop’s owner and show star Paul Teutul Sr.

The bike is being designed to commemorate the 50 year anniversary of Alaska’s assimilation into the United States.

Palin said of the gesture: “It means so much to the state of Alaska that these guys are building this bike that will honor statehood here.”

During the episode, Paul Sr. relaxes with Governor Palin in her office and talks about his enjoyment of snowmobiling and fishing in the summer. “Maybe we’ll ride the bike to the fishing hole,” said Palin.

Paul admits that he was nervous before meeting the former VP candidate but conceded that Palin was “a real down to earth person to talk to.”

The show can be seen on TLC on June 2.

Sarah Palin’s latest proposal rejected

Sarah Palin

Members of the Senate bipartisan majority rejected a Sarah Palin stimulus plan on Tuesday, stating that “palin’s proposal does not meet the spirit of the act, which was to funnel money to states in order to stimulate the nation’s faltering economy.”

Palin’s latest set-back as Alaska governor revolved around using federal stimulus dollars for education and other projects but was rejected quickly and unanimously.

As governor, Sarah Palin has struggled to find her niche, as many of her ideas are either rejected or passed then highly criticized later.

One example of this is the culling of wolves and bears in Alaska which promotes the shooting of predators from small planes.  This caused major uproar in the lower 48 states and among animal rights activists since many of the animals are left maimed to die of cold or to be eaten by scavengers.

Palin needs to figure her policies out if she wishes to be re-elected to govern Alaska.
